| Mike Krzyewski talks to Bob Knight after passing him as the all-time winninest coach in division one history |
Mike Krzyewski passed Bob Knight as the all-time winningest coach in division one history on November 15th. Mike Krzyewski's Duke Blue Devils took down Tom Izzo's Michigan State Spartans to achieve his 903rd victory. This is truly and incredible accomplishment. He has coached 36 years in division one basketball (5 years at Army, 31 years at Duke). He will easily go down as the best college coach of all time and even has a chance to achieve 1,000 wins! He has made Duke into a national powerhouse in basketball and has won 4 national championships (1991, 1992, 2001, 2010). It is truly incredible to think about what Coach Mike Krzyewski has achieved and I doubt that anyone will ever come close to passing him in wins in division one history.
